5/19/26: Todays visit was not so great. I saw Erin (because Polina is out-of-office), who is a lovely individual; however, she moves so fast that 1. I left with wax on me. 2. The job was not thorough, I left with hair where it should've been removed.

The best service ever, just outstanding. Tiki’s knowledge and skills with color and highlights is second to none. In addition she accommodated my daughter at the very last moment so as not to disappoint her, which she didn’t have to do, she was so kind. I was visiting from out of town and looking for a great salon, and I’m so glad I found this one! I had a massage with Liz—twice, because it was that amazing and a haircut with Jamie.

I have been to About Faces in Pikesville many times over the years and I always enjoy my experience. The staff at the front desk is always very welcoming, it’s very clean, and the massage area is dimly lit, smells good and it is a relaxing environment. I usually book with Liz and she is the best, ever since my first experience with her I request her. I’ve visited her for a pre-natal, hot stone and most recently a combination massage. On my last visit i had so much neck and upper back pain and since Liz worked her magic the pain has not returned and i feel so much better. Not only are her hands magic, she is so friendly, accommodating and professional. I can’t wait to book her again. I highly recommend.

I got an anti-stress facial earlier today with Mona. This was THE BEST facial I have ever gotten. Mona is very polite, professional, and has magic hands. She did this tapping on my face and I really don't know what exactly she was doing or the purpose, but it felt like a year of stress and tension was released. I STRONLY recommend About Faces Towson location and Mona. I wish I could afford to get an anti-stress facial with Mona every week.

This was my first time here & I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere & staff were lovely. Danielle gave me a wonderful deep tissue massage! She's very gifted! She listened to my troubled areas, didn't waste anytime, & was spot on with finding those trouble spots & working them out. A very professional and high quality experience!

I hardly ever get my nails done because I work with my hands. They are either deep in soil or water and manicures don’t last but a few days. Since the weather has been so frigid and my hands and feet feel like lizard skin, I decided I’d use some ancient gift cards I have on file at AF and treat myself to a spa day. I had a great manicure with Holly and pedicure with Ada! I highly recommend both of them for your nail needs! When I went check out, the gift cards that were “on file” were mysteriously missing. I was a little deflated and sort of annoyed with myself. The staff searched hi and low but could not locate them. I said, “oh well, I guess that’s what happens when you don’t use your gift cards in a timely manner”. The staff assured me they would continue to search for the cards and reminded me that they never expire. I was pretty sure that was that when I left. But a little later in the day I received a call from AF saying that the mystery was solved and that I’d receive the funds soon. This morning I got a text letting me know how much is in my account. I want to thank the Pikesville staff for digging into this mystery and solving it swiftly, and with patience. I’m looking forward to returning soon for more pampering!

I loved my massage w Danielle. I asked her to go pretty deep and she certainly did in the best way. She got out a ton of knots and I literally felt so great walking out of there. As someone who exercises frequently I wanted a reset and she gave it to me. I would highly recommend her!

I received a Swedish massage from Maria, who was recommended to me through a friend. Maria’s technique was excellent. She took the time to understand my needs and focus on the areas that needed the most attention. I felt so relaxed by the end of the session, a perfect way to wrap up a busy season at work. Patricia was phenomenal! I am a single mom who is completely rundown from all of the Holiday hustle and bustle and treated myself to a pre-Christmas massage. After my massage, I feel a lot more energized and ready to tackle the rest of the Christmas festivities! Even after the massage, Patricia was accommodating and calm and even encouraged me to check out the lounge area before I go and not to rush out but take some time to relax in that area which I really appreciated. About face is never disappointed and I highly recommend Patricia!

I love this salon. Every single person you interact with is great. The waxing and massage services are top notch. The most talented stylist I've ever met was here and I hope I get to keep him forever. Chris Joyner is a magician, an artist even. He is so flexible with my schedule too and always knocks it out of the park. I recommend him to anyone I know that really needs a professional colorist and stylist.

I was blessed with a gift card here for my birthday and it was truly an experience. First, the place is deceivingly large.. it has beautifully designed floors and transitions for each service. They also offer so much! Any personal “get right” need you can think of, they’ve got it! Spa services, facials, massages, hair & make up etc! The works. All of the staff were friendly and treated me with kindness and respect from the moment I wondered into their building. Warm feeling in the shop.

I can’t say enough positive things about our entire interaction! She is truly gifted! Literally blessed hands by the most High! I signed up for a Swedish/deep tissue combo and Oh my lawd, she went above and beyond my expectations. I could feel the stress and pressure float out of my muscles either each touch🙏🏽 I left feeling like a new person. Physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually. This was my first time at About Faces and my first silk press, and Cary made it an amazing experience! She explained every product, everything smelled great, and she took her time with a relaxing scalp massage. She noticed I needed a trim, showed me exactly what needed to go, and asked before doing anything. She started on time, was professional, and made me feel completely comfortable.

I have been getting massages from Amy for a year now and I couldn’t be happier! Every time I see her, I am both mentally and physically feeling better and it has helped me in other aspects of my life outside of just paying my self some attention. She is very innovative too, and I have found that to be extremely helpful in that the massage is tailored to ME! She understands that one size doesn’t fit all and she treats her clients individually based on their needs instead of just doing the same routine and techniques on everyone. I went for a massage what I thought would be a full body massage. I ended up getting anything but a massage. The massage therapist was tapping my arms and legs as well as shaking them around in an effort to get me to relax. Finally I got a brief massage after about 40 minutes of the tapping and shaking around. The massage lasted about 10 minutes and was a shoulder rub, neck, and the middle of my back. Once the massage was over I was left puzzled as to what had just happened, or what was that. I spoke with the spa director regarding my sub par massage (to be polite) and she was very kind and apologized. She even offered me a complimentary massage with someone different.
I finished my spa day with an absolutely amazing spa pedicure with Erika. Whom I highly recommend. She was very meticulous and so friendly.
In closing I am looking forward to going back for what I hope to be a better massage experience in the near future.
